Just because you’re not all in the same place, doesn’t mean you can’t get together like you normally would. It just needs to be virtually.
And if you don’t normally get together in this informal way, this is a great time to start it! It’s more important than normal to stay close as a team when apart.
Book 15-30 minutes once a week when you can all meet up online for a relaxed chat over a coffee/tea.
Make it the same time each week to make it easy to remember.
Enjoy the informality of just spending time together, chatting and getting to know each other better – without talking about work if possible. When people get to know each other, they build stronger relationships and more trust – which is crucial for great teamwork and great team results.
So pour yourself a cuppa and get online!
