“I have read a few similar books but this has had to be the easiest and most closest to real life that I have read. You can really identify with the characters and draw from your own experiences to help you learn as you are reading.
In the past I have read books to assist with a business conundrum, often to find that by the time I have reached the end, the business problem has past or I have identified another way to solve it.
As this isn’t a long book to read, you can really start to apply the learning’s very quickly whilst you are reading.
A must read if you are currently merging two teams together and dealing with common conflicts that naturally occur as a result. Looking forward to the next book from the duo :-).”

“The ‘Team Formula’ is a very readable book that quickly introduces the reader to the principles of team working. The story telling approach makes it easier to understand the management techniques described, such as: creating trust, managing change, communication in teams, information sharing, effective leadership, team dynamics, etc. It is a useful book for managers with no experience of change and as an aide-memoire for more experienced managers.

“Well worth reading this. Everyone will recognize the character types, and the impact they have on others. The book is well written and, through being told as a story and not a stodgy business/management book, is good fun too. I like the device of Stephen’s Journal too – a good mechanism for revealing how leaders develop with a new team, in addition to the team itself.”
